ANSVAR LAUNCHES ANNUAL 2015/ 2016 CEP GRANTS PROGRAM

Ansvar Insurance, Australia’s leading insurance provider for the Care, Community, Education, Faith and Heritage sectors has announced that applications are now open for their annual Community Education Program (CEP). Through the CEP grants, Ansvar supports sustainable programs for Australians under the age of 25, promoting ongoing education, skills training and programs making a significant difference to the lives of the participants.

This year Ansvar is simplifying the application process by allowing not-for-profits to complete their submissions online. The grants support programs that fall into two categories – Empowerment and Education, programs which provide opportunities to develop positive values that lead to healthy lifestyle choices and a positive contribution to our community, and Outreach and Support, programs that support youths who are at risk or are already experiencing difficulties though rehabilitation and/or skills training.  To date, Ansvar has donated over $10 million dollars to these programs in the last two decades.

“There are so many worthy organisations across Australia doing amazing work for our young people.  Funding is becoming more and more of a challenge and we are very proud of our Community Education Program and the meaningful contribution we are able to make to these not-for-profit organisations,” said Warren Hutcheon, CEO Ansvar.

The 2015 CEP Grant recipients included 20^th Man Youth Fund, Fighting Chance, Cobram & District Specialist School, Everyday CareSouth, Second Chances SA, The Shepherd Centre and Operation Stitches, have all been able to offer programs and change the lives of many deserving youths across the country.

Applications for the Ansvar CEP Grants are now open and will close at 5.00pm on Friday, 4 September 2015.  Ansvar will notify all organisations of the outcome of their application on or before Friday, 11 December 2015.  Successful applicants will be notified by phone by Friday 11 December 2015 with full information about their CEP Grant.  To apply online or to find out more, visit www.ansvar.com.au/about-us/community-investment/
